Who provides your immigration services, and how to verify it

Under section 91 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, only a lawyer, a Quebec notary, or an immigration consultant licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants may give Canadian immigration advice or represent someone before Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada for a fee. A licence is public, searchable, and can be checked in under a minute using the link above.

Through this collaboration, Maple Canada Services users may be referred to Sahar Ibrahim, RCIC-IRB (Licence No. R712852), Director of Alexandria Immigration Services. Sahar Ibrahim is licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) and is authorized to provide Canadian immigration and citizenship advice and representation in accordance with applicable legislation.

Alexandria Immigration Services provides consultation and representation services relating to temporary residence, permanent residence, and other Canadian immigration pathways. Clients receive independent professional advice tailored to their individual circumstances.

Immigration services are provided independently by Alexandria Immigration Services. Maple Canada Services does not provide immigration advice or representation.

Payment is accepted only in the following ways:

• Bank wire transfer to a corporate account, using the details our team sends you in writing, with a reference code tied to your file.
• Card payment through our payment processor, on a checkout page hosted by that processor.
• For clients in Africa, a hosted checkout page at the link provided by our team.

Payment is never requested through:

• Western Union, MoneyGram or any other cash remittance service.
• Cryptocurrency of any kind.
• Gift cards, vouchers or mobile top-up.
• The personal bank account of an employee, agent or anyone else. Corporate accounts only.
• Any account or link that did not reach you in writing from our team.

Government application fees are set and published by IRCC, and paying them through your consultant is ordinary regulated practice rather than a warning sign. The regulator’s own Client Account Regulation defines a disbursement as an expense the consultant incurs while working for you, “including government processing fees”, which you then reimburse, and it requires money held for a client to sit in a designated client account at a recognised financial institution. Biometrics, medical examinations, language tests, credential assessments, translation and courier work the same way.

What warrants checking is therefore not who transfers the money to IRCC, but the documentation: the amount matches the fee IRCC publishes, it appears on your agreement as its own line rather than folded into a service fee, and the receipt is issued to you. An amount above the published fee, or a government fee you cannot see separately, is what to question.

No consultant, lawyer or service provider can guarantee a visa, permanent residence, an invitation to apply, an approval, or a processing time. Those decisions belong to IRCC alone. Anyone guaranteeing you an outcome is promising something they cannot deliver.

What does the paid assessment cost, and what does it include?

The Comprehensive Assessment is 499 US dollars, one fixed fee. It includes a profile panel, a review of your file by the licensed consultant named above, one consultation, and a written report with the immigration pathways that fit your profile and the next steps, delivered within 7 days of the consultation.

Do I keep the written report if I do not continue?

Yes. The report is yours whether or not you go on to any further service.

Is there a written agreement, and can I read it before paying?

Yes. The assessment is provided under a written service agreement between you and the licensed consultant, setting out the services, the fee, the refund terms and dispute resolution through the CICC. A copy is available on request before payment, and the agreement is signed in your client panel.

What are the refund terms?

The refund terms are set out in the service agreement and in the published Refund Policy at maplecanadaservices.com/refund-policy.

Is a visa or approval guaranteed?

No. Decisions belong to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada alone. The assessment is paid for the professional review and the written report, not for an outcome.

Who represents me before IRCC if I go on to an application?

The licensed consultant named above. A representative is declared to IRCC on the Use of a Representative form (IMM 5476) submitted with the application. Maple Canada Services is never named as your representative.

Can I follow my application myself?

Yes. Your application number and the correspondence from IRCC are shared with you, and you can check the status of an application directly with IRCC.

Do you sell job offers or work permits?

No. A job offer comes from an employer. Nobody can sell you a job offer, an LMIA or a work permit, and IRCC treats an offer to do so as fraud.

How can I confirm the partnership with Alexandria Immigration Services myself?

Which company receives my payment, and do I get a receipt?

Payment is made to Maple Canada Services, which operates the client platform and collects the fee on the consultant’s behalf, into a corporate account or through a hosted checkout page. A receipt is issued for every payment.
